about me
I'm Alexandra Anton and I'm an American actress born and raised in Minneapolis, MN but currently residing in New York City. I found my passion for performing at an early age when I began taking dance lessons at two years old. My acting debut, at age six, came in my first-grade performance of Mother Goose, where I received acclaim (from my parents) for my portrayal of Mother Goose. Putting my acting career on hold, I joined competitive dance at Larkin Dance Studio, where I trained intensely in jazz, tap, ballet, pointe, and contemporary.
My interest in further exploring acting initially began through comedy. As a chronically online child, I became inspired to create my own skits by watching Jenna Marbles and Kristen Wiig videos on YouTube. In one skit, in particular, I pretend to take out a mailbox with my car. A few years later, when life imitated art, I decided that driving wasn't for me and made the move to NYC.
Although dance is my first love, acting is my true love. I discovered this after enrolling as a full-time student at the William Esper Studio, training in the Meisner technique under Suzanne Esper and Deb Jackel. I'm a graduate of their conservatory program.
